Animations

Animations on the ICON website used to be in RealPlayer 8 format. We now have our own Windows Media Server and are in the process of moving all our animations from RealPlayer to Windows Media - as a result you may find that some of the links on this page do not work.

When you click a movie link, a separate window opens containing the 'real' logo in the centre and a control bar at the bottom. A green status bar will also appear giving 'Buffering' information. The time shown on the status bar is intended to equate to how long it will be before the video will start. All movies are set to 'stream' from the Internet, meaning that the first part of the movie will start playing whilst the subsequent part are being downloaded. The faster your Internet connection the better quality the movies will appear.

You are able to pause and re-start the movie using the buttons on the control bar. Also, by right-clicking on the movie you are able to view it at full-screen resolution. As the movies are rather small the visual quality at full-screen will be poor.
