Overview

After Texaco bought a petroleum company located in one of the former Eastern Block countries, they wanted to apply their corporate identity to all the existing petrol filling stations.

To do this ICON scanned photographs and also sections of Texaco's corporate identity manual. The scanned images were then 'pasted' onto the existing photographs, stretched and skewed as appropriate to the image.

Colour fills were added where appropriate, changing the colours of the petrol pumps, signage and buildings.
