Visualisation of a proposed Sainsbury's supermarket and industrial units on an existing brewery site in Nottingham. The scope of work was to model proposed Sainsbury's Store, industrial units and site layout in AutoCAD. We then matched the computer generated perspective to the aerial photograph. As the Architects had already modelled the Sainsbury's store in MicroStation we converted this model into AutoCAD and amended it ready for rendering in the photomontage. We then had to model the other buildings on the site and the site itself. Once the model was complete it was lined up with the existing aerial photograph and rendered. The two were then merged using Adobe PhotoShop and blended together. Right from the start the decision was taken to produce a visual that looked like a computer visual rather than a photograph. |
