New recruits for ICON
ICON, the Market Harborough-based company
specialising in information management for construction and facilities
management, have appointed two new members of staff.
Charlie Rayner lives in East Farndon near Market Harborough, and
previously worked for Transport for London. He’s 19 years-old and joins
ICON, as a Content Assistant.
Adam Curtis, who is 21 years-old and a recent university graduate, joins
as Assistant Web Developer and lives in Oadby near Leicester.
Both new recruits are keen on sport and keeping fit, which should stand
them in good stead at ICON.
Several members of staff have taken part in charity cycle rides during
the summer, raising money for retail sector charities. The events
included a 100 mile ride to Norfolk and a coast-to-coast ride in the
north of England.
The ICON System has a range of utilities to help with the management and
collation of data for large buildings – ranging from design and
specification through project roll-out to ongoing property maintenance.
ICON’s clients include national retailers such as John Lewis,
Sainsbury’s, ASDA and Waitrose. The company now employs 18 people at its
offices at The Point in Market Harborough.
“We continue to grow and develop our skills and services,” said managing
director Chris Lovelock, “despite the recession. We are unique in
offering a dedicated content management team for each of our clients.
“Charlie and Adam will add their skills to these teams providing an
invaluable level of support and expertise.”
